Resetting Medication “Every Other Day” Schedule

If I get off-track with a medication that I have set for every other day (or every third day etc.), is there a way to automatically reset/recalibrate the next scheduled day based on when I last logged?

For example, supposed to take something Day 1 and Day 3. If I miss Day 1 and instead take it on Day 2, ideally the medication app would not tell me to take it Day 3 it would instead have it scheduled for Day 4 and maintain an alternate day schedule based on when I actually log it. Is that possible?

Hi kgn5502,

Thanks for posting in Apple Support Communities.

It sounds like you want the medication reminder to automatically adjust based on the interval in which you have set. This isn't currently an available feature. You set when the medication needs to be taken and you are given the option to choose skip or taken and will be reminded on the next date it was scheduled to be taken.

You're welcome to provide feedback to Apple.
