i used to use iPhotos to keep my photos on my laptop. what is the substitute for monterey?

"iPhoto" was replaced by "Photos" about 8 or 9 years ago in a Yosemite release. In Monterey you can hold down the option key while opening the Photos app and it will give you the option to select your iPhoto library and will open and convert it.
