iPhone charging slow from MacBook after IOS16

Hey all. I’ve noticed a weird behavior in my iPhone XS Max since updating to iOS16. In brief, my phone charges extremely slowly when I connect it to my either of my two MacBook Pros (work and home). This was not the case before the update, when I was getting similar charging speeds on both laptops as I was getting when using my apple 20W usb-c power adapter (received with my iPad). All my devices are up to date and I am using only original cables. My iPhone battery also sits at 85% of original charge, and supports peak operations. Also, I have no problems fast-charging with my 20W power adaptor. Any ideas? Cheers!
