iCloud Photos on Windows 10
I am having trouble synchronizing and downloading to my PC. I get repeated alerts "some of your photos and videos are currently unavailable" and the last weeks of photos were missing in the iCloud Photos folder (they are available when I log into iCloud.com in a browser).
The one useful suggestion I found online was to I log out of iCloud.com app and back in and let it re-populate the folder on my PC. This did result in some odd alert about iCloud and OneDrive Backup not being compatible and the folder now living in my home directory (not sure what that all means). The last weeks photos are now visible in the iCloud Photo folder, but a LOT of them are stuck synchronizing, and I get timeout errors if I try to open them.
I have tried clearing and resetting the 'always keep on my device' but no difference.
My phone has lots of free storage (94 of 128GB free), my iCloud account has lots of storage free (only 24GB of 2TB used), and my PC has lots of space free (761GB of 930GB free) and lots of RAM (4.8GB of 10GB free).
Assistance is appreciated.
