How long is syncing going to take?

I'm having to delete all my music on my phone and resync due to another issue, and I have something like 25,000 songs to sync, over 200GB worth. (I've been collecting music for a long time.) But I can't find an estimate for how long this is going to take! I'm just watching it slowly increment one song at a time. Can someone with enough understanding of how this works explain why, in 2023, Apple cannot estimate how long syncing will take? It already knows how many songs there are and how much space it's going to take. What's the issue?

I'm syncing over Finder from my Macbook with OS X Monterey 12.6.2, Apple Music version 1.2.5.7 if that still matters, to my iPhone 13 with iOS 16.2.
