Time machine stopped backing up because it thinks my HD is full-it's not!
I erased the external HD but still Time Machine refuses.
Im running Monterey on a 2013 Mac Pro.
Any help would be appreciated.

If the Internal drive does not have sufficient Empty Space.
TM Backup needs to make Snap Shots ( on the Internal Drive ) before transferring them to the Destination Drive, that maybe the real issue

What is the exact message? There is one message regarding not being able to create a snapshot. That refers to the drive you are backing up, not the backup drive.
