When I text my husband, it will only go to his personal number and not his work number. He has an iPhone as well. Why?

When I text a message to my husbands work number it will always go to his personal number and I can’t figure out why. He as an iPhone as well.

iPhone sending text to wrong number I’ve been trying to text my husband, as always. He has a personal android Samsung phone and then a iPhone for work. I’ve always had both numbers saved in a contact under his name in my phone. If i needed to text one versus the other id choose the number. I have never had an issue until yesterday, whenever i text his personal phone all the texts go to his work iPhone. The messages show up as a green text , but he texts me back and says I’m texting his work phone. I’ve deleted his contact info, I’ve deleted both numbers from my phone. But continue to have this issue. Does anyone have any solution or recommendation??

Sending as SMS instead of iMessage to one contact. During a conversation with my husband my messages mid way stopped sending as iMessage. Now they will not send as iMessage. I’ve tried a few things that were suggested here but they didn’t stick. It’s only with his contact as I can still send texts to other people. I tried to see if it was my service so I turned on WiFi calling etc. no dice. Any suggestions? Hopefully this isn’t a persistent problem like the “location can’t be added due to person not having the newest iOS” even though we both updated our phones while sitting next to eachother issues I’ve been having. edit: Solution was he restarted his phone as well.

AT&T iphone Messages containing the #1 are not being sent to non-iphone An AT&T user with an iphone cannot send a message containing the number 1 to a non-iphone user. At work, we use a third party messaging/notification tool. Every morning we have to text a number to this third party app to indicate where we are for the day (1 = At work, 2=Telework, 3=sick, etc...). On Wednesday, texting the number 1 stopped working for at&t users. All other numbers (2,3,4,5,6,7) continue to work. To further test this, I texted my Android friend the number 1 and she did not get the text. This is not just happening to me. This is happening to everyone I work with and many of my friends that I tested with.

You can choose which phone number to send your message to by typing in the persons name to whom you would like to send your message to in the new message section of your messages and then click the ">" button which should then bring up other contact methods for that person. After, you choose which method of contact you would like to use, you can send the message to the option you chose.
