Can't turn on phone after latest update

I have my phone set to automatic updates. After the update last night, I can't turn on my phone. I tried to force restart but nothing, just a black screen. Called support and they said I needed to take it for repair. Is there anything I can do from home to uninstall the update or get my phone to turn on? Thanks
