New iPhone 14 Pro is very slow accessing the internet at times but not all times, sometimes can not seem to find it. Do not have this problem with an older iPhone XR or with Mac laptops using the same WiFi. Is this common to iPhone 14s?

No issues accessing the internet on either our iPhone 14 Pro or 14 Pro Max. Do you by chance use a VPN on your iPhone? If you do, get rid of it. It's simply not needed on iPhone, which is fully encrypted. VPN's can cause way more issues than they solve.

OK.....that's good. The next question I have is how you are accessing the internet? Wifi or Cellular? If Cellular, go to Settings app on your iPhone. Tap Cellular. Tap Cellular Data Options > Voice & Data > If you have 5G selected, change the setting to 5G Auto. Or, if you live in an area where 5G is spotty at best or not available, change it to LTE.
We use Cox internet with their most recent router. So the answer is Wi-Fi. It is my wife’s phone and I am not aware of a problem with receiving 5G when away from home. Again, thank you for taking your time on this
OK......To determine if the issue is your router or the iPhone, you should test internet access using Wifi outside your home. For example if you can go to friends house and join their network, if the same behavior is present, it may be an issue with the phone. If accessing sites on another router works without issue, it's your router in your home as the likely culprit.
