Still requesting for “Parent/Guardian permission”

So my guardian figure enabled the feature that makes it so you need to ask permission in order to download apps and buy stuff, well recently they disabled it, but anytime I try to download a app, or try to buy something, it says I still have to ask for permission, and when I press ask for permission, my parent doesn’t get it, because they disabled it, is there anyway to fix this?

Hello DJcreepertheDJ,

The first thing we would check is whether you are part of a Family Group.

Tap on Settings. Do you see "Family" below your name? If you do, tap it. This will show you the Family Group you are part of.

You want to make sure that the family organizer has "Ask to Buy" disabled. This information from Approve what kids buy with Ask to Buy - Apple Support explains how to turn this feature off and on:

How to turn on or turn off Ask to Buy
If you're a parent or guardian, use your own device to turn on or turn off Ask to Buy.

On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
1. Open the Settings app.
2. Tap your name.
3. Tap Family Sharing.
4. Tap your family member's name, then tap Ask to Buy. In iOS 15 or earlier, tap Ask to Buy then tap your family member's name.
Ask to Buy is located below Screen Time.

5. Turn on or off Require Purchase Approval.

Have a good day.
