The "Open with" option is grayed out in "Get Info" window.

Now I just need to remember to right click every time I go to open link...

Thank you. I was going nuts trying to change this to Firefox, and couldn't do it. Reminds me of an issue years ago that Microsoft got sued for that forced you to use their browser out of the box. Can't remember exactly all the details but it was some sort of competition complaint.

So let's hope it's a bug they fix. :)

Well, Ventura 13.2 will be released shortly, most likely this coming week. We'll find out then. 😎

As of right now, you can't change from Safari for .webloc files. I don't know if it is a bug or a purposeful change by Apple.

You can send Apple feedback about the issue.

As a workaround until the problem is fixed you can Control (right) - click on the weblog file and select whichever browser you'd like to use from the contextual menu.
