Replacing the SSD in a Fusion Drive
According to some utilities and the SMART report, the SSD part of my Fusion drive is getting bad. The HD tests fine, but the SSD has many bad spots and even damaged one of my huge storage files. Normally I would say it's time to update the whole computer, but its my desktop/network hub. It really doesn't have to run very fast. I am rarely using directly, but it does get all the files from the other computers in the house and it's the main backup and networking machine. All my big storage drives are attached to it - things of that nature. If it's possible to push whatever data is on the SSD over to the HD and replace it then reform the fusion drive I would love to do that.
