Tracks and/or regions that won't play

I've had this problem (above) for a very long time. My workaround is to try making a new track which often doesn't work. I use Logic Pro X 10.4.4.

Is this a common problem with 10.4.4?

I'm suspecting a track problem more than a region problem, because moving a region to a working track sometimes fixes it, but I can't put all my regions on a single good track. The bad tracks are unmuted, they have an instrument loaded in, and the virtual keyboard on the instrument edit window even play notes I click even though the track/region won't put out any sound.

Never mattered before as much as now because now I'm working on some more serious stuff now and I have a bit of a deadline.

Is this problem a feature of 10.4.4 and if so, is there a workaround that anyone is familiar with?

If both sequencers are in use simultaneously, could my Cubase steal instruments from my Logic Pro if I have selected the same file (same articulation) and both sequencers are trying to get the use of the same file during the same space of time. (...).

Depending on your MacOS Logic, 10.4.4 was one of the most stable Logic versions (ever).

Make unique copies of the audio files, don't let Logic and Cubase use the same audio files at the same time.
