Safari only plays the sound of videos on Twitter with a black screen where the video should be

For about a month now, when I press play on a Twitter video, the video goes to black and I can only hear the sound.

This only happens when using Safari (Twitter works on Chrome, Brave, Firefox) but, Safari is my preferred browser and I'd like to keep using it but this Twitter issue is annoying

Anyone else experiencing this? Fixes?
