No option to delete apps in Home Screen or App Library
I can’t delete apps from my Home Screen. The only option I see is remove app. But this doesn’t delete the app

If you're unable to remove any app check your device for restrictions as this may explain the behavior you're encountering: Use parental controls on your child's iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support
"Prevent iTunes & App Store purchases
- Go to Settings and tap Screen Time.
- Tap Content & Privacy Restrictions. If asked, enter your passcode.
- Tap iTunes & App Store Purchases.
- Choose a setting and set to Don't Allow."
