Sync iFoto folders/albums <-> windows folder structure?

Hi guys,

So I have that new iPhone but still use a Windows laptop. I run the iCloud on both devices and wonder if it´s possible to synchronize the folder structure in order to keep my fotos organized by the same logic on both devices?

So far my iFotos folder on windows just looks like a big foto melting pot with no album/folderstructure at all - whilst on my iPhone I have several folders and albums.

A second question would be, if this is possible with using iCloud only?

Meaning: If I put my pictures in an iCloud folder, will they automatically be integrated in the iPhone Foto-Galleries, preferably even with the same folder structure?

Thanks for helping me out here, I´m really lost in the transition process - even thinking about returning the iPhone because it just seems to be impossible to organize big amounts of pictures over different (non apple) devices.

Saludos,

M

Hi there MuddyJazz,

You can use iCloud Photos on your Windows PC and your iPhone to keep all your photos organized and updated on both devices.

With iCloud for Windows, you can view, download, and upload photos and videos stored in iCloud from a Windows computer.

Have a look at this link for more information about using iCloud Photos on your Windows PC: Set up and use iCloud Photos on your Windows PC - Apple Support

To set up iCloud Photos on your iPhone, you'll want to be sure you sign in with the same Apple ID you're using on your PC and follow these steps: Set up and use iCloud Photos - Apple Support

Take care.
