iPad Pro 10.5 Not Screen Mirroring

I have an apple tv that my iPhone 12 and Macbook pro can screen mirror (confirming not an HDMI cable issue), but when I try to screen mirror my iPad 10.5 (ipadOS 16.2) to the same apple TV, the screen is black. I have screen mirrored many times to the apple TV before iOS 16 with no issues. I can screen mirror my iPad to my Macbook Pro with no issues, but I only have issues connecting with the Apple TV, even though my iPhone and Macbook Pro do not.

I do get when I select the Apple TV on my iPad to screen mirror a prompt to input the passcode. This passcode appears on the projected screen to which the Apple TV is connected. After I input the passcode, the screen stays black in the background, with nothing visible from my iPad screen.

Solutions Tried (always ensuring on the same Wi-fi network):

1.) Sign out of iCloud on iPad and Apple TV, then re-signed in

2.) I have restarted both the Apple TV and the iPad.

3.) I have checked multiple times to make sure the iPad and the Apple TV are on the most up-to-date iOS.

4.) I have tried different Apps on the iPad thinking maybe the issue was a particular app, but nothing

5.) (Apple TV) I have Turned OFF (Home Sharing) --> Restarted Apple TV --> Turned ON (Home Sharing)

6.) Screen Mirror to my Macbook Pro - Works Great!

PLEASE HELP

Hello Finding_the_Truth,

You'll want to start by making sure your Apple TV and iPad are both running the latest software versions, which are tvOS 16.2 and iPadOS 16.2. You can go to Settings > General > About on both devices to check the current software versions installed. If needed, learn how to update your Apple TV and iPad using the links below:

Next, make sure both devices are connected to the same Wi-Fi network in Settings > Wi-Fi.

If both devices are updated and connected to the same Wi-Fi network, but screen mirroring still isn't working, try restarting both devices again with the steps below:

If the issue persists beyond those steps, you'll want to reach out to Apple Support directly for more guidance. They're best-equipped to take a closer look at the issue and provide some additional guidance. This link will help you get started: Contact - Official Apple Support

Take care.
