When I edit mp3 files to have iTunes advisory tags through mp3 tag for Mac it doesn't seem to work, is it outdated or am I making a mistake on my part. has worked in past few weeks.

Genius suggestions not functioning I was in the music app in the iTunes store and I remembered the genius suggestions future and found it on the sidebar. Yet when I clicked it all it said was that I do not have a genius suggestion and that I need to teach genius about my tastes. Now the thing it is that I don't use iTunes as my main software for buying music but have about 30ish songs bought through the store, not including the hundreds of personal songs I have imported and formatted into the music app. I even get genius playlists made from music that isn't purchased through iTunes. So I'm really stumped on why I am not getting any suggestions for music to buy in the genius tab in iTunes. I'm on an older mac (2013) and it's still on Catalina so I understand that may be in a factor in this. Yet if that should not be the reason why it is doing this then what else could it be?

Mac Music app bug? For a few years now, there's this annoying bug in my music app on my Mac(s). Whenever I edit an ID3-tag, add a heart symbol or drag a song to a playlist, my screen jumps further down my library and I have to scroll all the way back up to continue where I was. I was using a Macbook Air (2011) that was limited to High Sierra and iTunes. Last year I bought a MacBook Air (M1) with the new Music app and still I'm experiencing the same problem. MBA macOS 12.6 Music App v 1.2.5.7 Apple Music Subscription + old mp3's and bought iTunes songs Am I the only one with this bug?

Music Files Appearing as Kind = PDF @dunderhead had this issue in 2022 and never got it fixed. Any ideas? Some albums list in Apple Music type as PDF - the song plays fine but will not import into other apps as it is considered invalid format. (In this case ROON)

Same issue here. The advisory tags show up for a few seconds on the track, then disappear.

iTunes/Music won't always notice edits made with 3rd party tools automatically. Often playing a track is enough to update the library.
