Sent messages not saving

I have been sending emails regularly. Lately, when I go to check the last email that is saved in the sent box is from 2021. I go to search to find the email and there is nothing there. I don’t know why my sent messages are no longer being saved there. I have no record of even sending the email. What should I do. It is very important that I have these emails but now they don’t exist I saw a previous response where it asked to check your iCloud settings. It has the cent box checked. I can’t understand where a whole year of emails went..

Hey tashauna209,

Just to confirm, are you having this issue with the iCloud email server or another type of email?

If it's iCloud email, let's double check to see if you see the sent emails by logging in directly from the iCloud website. Click here to access the site: iCloud

Also, are you able to send the emails without an issue? Do you see any type of error when you attempt to send an email?
