IPhone Transferring Bug

On my iPhone 12 Pro Max, which is 256gb, I Am taking up 205gb, which means I have 50gb remaining. I am trying to transfer my data over to my new iPhone 14 pro max. which is 256gb as well, but it keeps saying I do not have enough data on my new phone to contain my old phones data. What do I do? I’ve deleted everything I can.
