MacBook Pro 2017 and Studio Display Screen Blinking/Flickering

Similar to the unanswered post from 2022, my 2017 MBP is causing screen blinking (on and off) and flickering (fast distortions) on my new Studio Display when connected with the new cable from the SD box.
