iPhone Touch Screen Not Responding to Touch

Any tips on how to fix my iPhone 11 whose touch screen won't work? I've tried forcing a restart by pressing Volume Up, Volume Down, and Side Button. Once it restarts the problem isn't resolved. When I try to connect my iPhone to my laptop and iTunes for a forced update, I can't connect because I need to unlock my iPhone to use accessories and I can't unlock my iPhone since I can't touch anything.

iPhone 11, iOS 16

Hi sammy_hendricks5,

Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities.

It sounds like you're having an issue with the display on your iPhone not responding to your touch.

We're happy to assist.

We recommend checking out the steps in the section titled "If your screen is too sensitive or responds intermittently to touch" from the article here: If the screen isn't working on your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

1) Restart your iPhone or iPad.
2) Make sure that your screen is clean and free of any debris or water.
3) Disconnect any Lightning or USB-C accessories. If your screen works after removing an accessory, try using a different outlet, cable, or charger.
4) Remove any cases or screen protectors.

We're recommending the steps above because they directly address the issue you initially posted about: you're having a problem with the display on your iPhone not responding to your touch.

Should the issue continue, we recommend that you contact Apple Support directly so that they can work with you to find a solution.
