Apple Watch Deleting Calories

Hello! I recently received the newest model of Apple Watch, and was really excited about it until it started acting acting up. Would really appreciate any advice!

For the past 3 days, after exercising in the morning and achieving roughly 600 active calories, I’ll go to check my final calorie count at night to see the numbers at around 200-250 calories. The Watch has essentially been deleted 2/3 of the calories I log in a day and there isn’t any reason why.

I recalibrated the watch, checked my health metrics to be sure they were mine, I’ve turned off Peloton’s health and fitness access so the only app/device logging my workouts is the watch. And like I said, I know that my watch is only logging active calories when I reach my 600 calorie range, so I know that’s not the issue.

Any and all suggestions would be so greatly appreciated! This is very frustrating and has started happening to other people I know!

Thanks for reaching out thekleinz,

It sounds like you've been trying some steps to calibrate your Apple Watch for better calorie tracking, but it hasn't worked so far. We can help.

For this issue, you've actually already completed the recommended steps to resolve the issue. Since it still is ongoing, your best bet would be to Contact Apple for support and service and report the behavior.

Hope that helps.

Take care.
