No notification when receiving text.
No notifications when text messages coming in. Phone is off silent, notifications are on and sound chosen, do not disturb is NOT on. What else can I look for?

Thanks for reaching out to the Apple Support Communities. To get started, are you receiving no notification when a message comes in, or are you just not hearing a notification sound when receiving a new notification.
If not hearing a notification sound, does this occur when you're using your iPhone? If so, do you by chance have Attention Aware Features enabled in Settings > Face ID & Passcode?

What are Attention Aware features?
Even if you don’t enroll in Face ID, the TrueDepth camera* intelligently activates to support Attention Aware features. With Attention Aware features, iPhone can check whether you’re paying attention to your device and automatically take action. For example,
- When you’re looking at your device, your display will not dim until you stop looking at your device.
- If you're looking at your device, it will lower the volume sound of your alerts.
If you don’t want to use these features, open the Settings app, tap Face ID & Passcode, then turn off Attention Aware Features.
If you're not receiving any sort of notification when receiving a message, while we understand you stated that Do Not Disturb was disabled, do you by chance use any other Focus features on your iPhone that may be preventing messages from being received as expected?
