imac 2019 5k 27in RAM upgrade

I'm looking to upgrade the RAM in my iMac (2 x 4gb modules) and I have a few things I'm not sure about. First, I've looked at required specs, and I think something like this would be suitable

https://www.megamac.com/products/16gb-owc-matched-memory-upgrade-kit-2-x-8gb-2666mhz-pc4-21300-ddr4-so-dimm-owc2666ddr4s16p

My main issue is, If I buy for example 2 x 8gb modules, can I insert them alongside the extant 4gb ones? Or will that cause an issue, and I would have to remove the 4gb ones and make sure all the modules inserted are exactly the same? I've heard some conflicting reports on this. Any advice would be appreciated!

Yes. Just install them in the two empty RAM slots in your iMac. However, I would buy the modules directly from OWC (MacSales.com) or from Crucial.com. Those two vendors guarantee their modules because they test them in the model they're designed for. Modules from 3ed party sellers may be those modules that were low on the compatibility test and, thus, sent to 3rd party sellers.
