Apple Calendar not synching some accounts on desktop

All of my devices synch seamlessly, except several of my accounts are not showing up on my desktop. All devices, including the desktop, have the latest OS. I've tried deleting the account and then enabling again, with no success. In fact, now one account no longer even shows a checkbox on the calendar. One account is Exchange and one Google. Any guidance would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hello jimfromsouthold,

Thanks for choosing the Apple Support Communities. We see Contacts aren't syncing to your Mac.

What we will want to do is ensure all of your accounts are added. Let's go over how.

  1. iCloud - Ensure Contacts are checked, and you are using the same iCloud account on your Mac that you do on your other devices. - Set up iCloud for Contacts on all your devices - Apple Support
  2. Sign in and ensure you are using the same account on all of your internet accounts. - Add contacts from iCloud, Google, and more to Contacts on Mac - Apple Support

Start there and let us know if those steps help.

Cheers!

Hello jimfromsouthold,

To back up and make sure we're on the same page, when you say the accounts aren't showing up, are you referring to within the Calendar app only? We see you mentioned you removed and re-added the accounts, so it sounds like you see them in System Preferences > Internet Accounts, but not in Calendar. Is that right?

Also, you mentioned you have an iCloud account as well as the two third-party accounts. Are you able to sync contacts with your iCloud account?

Since the issue appears to be affecting multiple accounts, you could try booting your Mac into safe mode. This runs a basic disk check and also prevents some items from launching on startup, so it will help to narrow things down a bit. The steps will vary depending on your processor so check out this guide for the steps: How to use safe mode on your Mac - Apple Support

Once you test, click Apple menu () > Restart and let us know the results, as well as the answers to the questions above.

Take care.
