Click on the first message item, then press and hold the cmd-key while selecting any others to add to the selection. Then you can copy and paste these into MS Word. Just tested on Monterey 12.6.2, but should be no different approach in Ventura.


There is no single-clicking the main message in the left panel and copy/pasting all of the related messages into Word. However…


If the messages are all text, you can get the entire conversation into a Word document by first selecting the message thread owner in the left column of Messages, and then Print… PDF > Save as PDF to your Desktop. Right click on that PDF in the Finder and from the Open with menu, choose Microsoft Word. You will see a progress dialog where Word is converting the PDF to .docx and then Word opens with all of the text messages present. It will process any images as black box content.
