How to erase photos on my iPad

Photos is taking too much space on my iPad. How do I erase them and prevent more photos from loading on the iPad?

You can erase them by taping on the trashcan

icon when viewing a single photo, or by using the Select option, to choose multiple photos, and again tapping on the trashcan icon to delete them.

How to stop the photos loading onto the iPad, would depend on how they are getting loaded.


Are you using iCloud Photos? If so turn it off in Settings ➡️ Photos ➡️ iCloud Photos.


Otherwise explain how they are getting loaded onto the iPad.
