My apple wallet device acct number is not the same after I updated my new card. It’s the same card number but it’s a different expiration date and different CvV number. It will not allow me to update the card.

How can I change the device number???? I can’t purchase anything from Apple with my id because my payment is my Apple Pay but when I updated the card info it gave me a new device acct number. So it doesn’t match the one I used to have (which has my old card info on it). HELP!! There is no way for me to change it. I can’t remove the old card because it says I have active subscriptions.
