Syncing of photos to iCloud

My phone is trying to sync my photos to the cloud and it is not working. It keeps pausing and syncing. I deleted a 5 min video as it was trying to sync thinking it was just too long and I also deleted a couple of photos I didn't want. Please help!

Restart the phone

plug it in

walk away

verify your sync :

open photos

tap library scroll to the bottom for the current status

iCloud photos - does not sync Hello, the pictures I have on my phone's gallery don't sync and don't show up in iCloud. There are 10 493 photos and 1603 videos on my phone, but even though I upgraded my plan, the pictures are still not syncing on iCloud. There are only 4089 photos and 476 videos. On the phone, it shows as synced. Now my phone is crashing because there is no space left, but why can I not see them on my iCloud? This is frustrating, I pay more, but it does not work. Appreciate the help. Thanks.

iCloud Photos on IPhone not syncing I have an ongoing issue with iCloud Photos on my iPhone, refusing to sync. What happens is the status just stays stuck at syncing xx items to iCloud. The only way I can get beyond this, is by a hard reboot on the phone and then the photos will sync properly for a day, and then back to square one. I have deleted iCloud Photos from the phone (switching of iCloud) and then re-enabling, but that’s doesn’t solve the issue. This has been going on for a while now, including before ios18. I have the latest version of iOS on an iPhone 16 Pro Max. Worth noting that photos on other devices, for example iPad will sync no issue, although not on the iPhone until that hard reboot. It’s driving me mad and really not sure how to resolve this. Hopefully someone out here knows something.
