Removing photos and videos from iCloud storage to a flash drive

My iCloud storage is full, so I want to transfer photos to a flash drive. I don't want to copy them; I want to actually TRANSFER them. How do I do this?

Windows, Windows 10

If you want to move your photos from iCloud to a Flash Drive, you can download your photos online https://www.icloud.com - and then move them to your flash drive.

When the images are saved on your flash drive, you can delete the images in iCloud, and thus get more space.

If you use a Mac, with the same Apple ID where your pictures are stored, you can actually drag the pictures from within the Photos app on your Mac, directly onto your flash drive.
