GarageBand app offloaded and files lost
My GarageBand app was auto-offloaded by my phone. This has happened a couple of times in the past, so I wasn't terribly worried, but when I re-downloaded it, it said that there were only five files in my "GarageBand for iOS" folder. I know for a fact I had significantly more work than that saved. I have it set to upload my files to iCloud, and in the past they've shown up there, but when I logged into iCloud on my computer to restore them, it similarly said that there were only five GarageBand files and that there was nothing for me to restore anywhere. I've tried just about everything I could find about this topic, and I can't find any solution. I didn't do anything to it, I just re-downloaded the app after my phone independently offloaded it. Isn't the data supposed to be stored when that happens, and either way, shouldn't the fact that I know it was previously stored in iCloud at least mean that it would show up in recently deleted files? Is there any way to recover the files that seem to have been automatically deleted, or have they just completely vanished? Is this a bug that others have seen happen?
