Can I upgrade from Big Sur 11.6 to Big Sur 11.7.6 in one download? I was recently given an iMac Retina 5k 27 inch 2020 computer from a friend of the family, but I noticed that the macOS was never upgraded from Big Sur 11.6 to at least the last Big Sur 11.7.6 upgrade. I am wondering if for now I can just upgrade from Big Sur 11.6 to Big Sur 11.7.6 in one download instead of just each individual upgrade or should I just go from here on to Monterey and then on to Ventura or can I even do that without the Big Sur upgrades? What's the best way of approaching this?

Back up your data, check your applications for compatibility, click here, and then on the download link for Big Sur. It's a full-version upgrade, not an update.
