3 year old MacBook Pro 2019 , A2159. I have attached pictures of its different stage. At first it was a vertical strip of black screen at one stop but has gotten progressively worse. As apple normally recommend to change the whole screen which is expensive. what could be causing this.
TLDR ; screen worked only on acute angel , had a vertical black strip but got worse. apple technician says its broken screen. need second opinion

The fact it occurs only when the screen is at an angle suggests a broken cable conductor. Whether that cable can be replaced independent of the screen is something only Apple can determine though. Some parts are only available as a complete assembly.
