Apple Books progress bar

After the most recent update, Apple Books had a redesign where they lost the progress bar that appeared at the bottom of the page that showed how far along in the book you were. I really enjoyed this feature, is there any way to get it back? I’ve looked through the settings and can’t find anything.

Apple Books page numbering change In one of the more recent updates, Apple Books changed their whole layout, including the way that they number pages. Before the most recent update when my iPad was horizontal and there were two pages on the screen each of those 2 pages received its own page number. Now in that same configuration Apple Books counts both pages just as one page and makes the total page count of books appear as half of what they actually are. Is there any setting to make the page number more accurate and count every page?

Book application no longer showing how many pages are left in the chapter I just updated my tablet and the book application has changed. You can no longer see how many pages are left in the chapter. It’s harder to get to the options. Is there a way to just go backwards on that one app to the older version? [Re-Titled by Moderator]

Pages left in chapter Has the pages left in chapter view option been removed from Apple Books in the latest iOS update? I so miss this feature.

I’ve looked and can’t find it either. Annoying. I guess Apple knows what’s best for us.
