I had exceeded over 800 days of meeting/exceeding my move goal. I've closed my rings every day with intention since I purchased my watch. Today, it's telling me I've reached my Move goal 35x! Under the 1,000 Move Goal, the total was still correct. An online "fix" said to turn the iWatch off/back on to get the data back on track. When I did this, it did the opposite of my desired goal; under the 1,000 Move Goal, it now says I'm 35 days toward my goal, rather than over 800! My other badges & accomplishments seem to be unaffected. I'm devastated by this & hope that the data can be restored, even if some days are missing! Any suggestions, or do I just have to start over?

Hello pbeaverdoodle,

Have you had a chance to also restart the paired iPhone in addition to the Apple Watch? If not, that may help with some issues that come up.

Were any recent changes made, such as the removal of any apps or changes in Settings/Health app? If so, it's possible that may be related if it was selected to have the app's data deleted as well.

If you still experience issues then we'd advise reaching out to the Apple Support Advisors that specialize in this area here: Apple Support

Cheers.

Eric_G1: Thanks for the suggestions. I did go over to the Genius Bar today with my iPhone & iWatch but the specialists there were baffled. We unpaired the iWatch from the phone & paired it again. The health data is glitchy but still is on the phone, showing that I'm 176 days away from closing my Move ring 1,000 days in a row. For some reason, the iWatch data keeps changing so I've been taking date stamped screen shots so people don't think I'm crazy. The Genius Bar specialists said my issue probably is not isolated & hopefully, will be corrected with the next update. For now, I'm trying to lean into this as an opportunity to not allow this technical glitch to break my spirit! Even if the iWatch doesn't recognize my efforts, I'll know when I meet my goal! I will try the Apple Support team, too. Thanks for your response!
