Exchange password required

I saw there were previous OLD threads about the persistent nag from macOS that their "Exchange password required." I STILL battle this glitch and was wondering if there has been any progress as to how to remove it? It drives me insane.

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 10.14

The change was a result of Microsoft updating their Exchange server product. It doesn't matter how many times you provide the password; it will continue to nag you until you remove that email Account, and add it again.


Refer to If you can’t send or receive email on your Mac - Apple Support. Skip to the end and follow the instructions under "Remove your email account, then add it back."
