Hello BlueCloud571,
Since your iPhone has multiple microphones and speakers, let's isolate this a bit more by testing in other native apps.
If the microphones on your iPhone aren't working covers isolation steps to test the microphone on your iPhone in a different app.
"If people can't hear you on phone or FaceTime calls
- Open the Voice Memos app.
- Tap the Record button
, speak at the bottom of your phone, then stop the recording. - When you play back the memo, you should hear your voice clearly."
If you hear no sound or distorted sound from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch speaker has some other steps you'll want to complete for your speaker.
We'd also recommend testing the speaker by making a FaceTime audio call on your iPhone using Make and receive FaceTime calls on iPhone.
If you continue to experience issues in other native apps, this may indicate a hardware issue with your microphone and speaker. You'll want to contact Apple Support for additional options.
If you're unable to reproduce this behavior in other apps, this may indicate a cellular network issue. Let us know the results, and we'll go from there.
Regards.
