Airpods case staying at 1% and not charging

My airpods pro case has had a problem where I connect my charger and it won’t charge the case but in some cases will charge the airpods themselves. The battery percentage will be at 1% or 0% even after charging for 30+ minutes. The charger I am using works perfectly fine because I charge my phone with it all the time. Can someone help me please, thank you.
