Kindle app issue on my iPad

Just started having issue with reading/using my Kindle app on my iPad.


the page just when white when I was turning to new page

I tried CLOSING the app and then reopened it—same white page but after while could get the dashboard to come up—

but I cannot kept the Kindle app to show the text on the page of the book—

any ideas what is going on???

it plays just find in the Amazon Kindle function—I can read the book from inside the Amazon’s Kindle app—but want to use the Kindle app

Should I delete the Kindle app and download from the App Store?

Along with closing the Kindle app, make sure you have restarted your iPad to clear out any software issues that might be occurring between the app and the iPadOS: Restart your iPad - Apple Support


If that does not work, update the Kindle app in the App Store so that you have the most optimized version running: How to manually update apps on your Apple device - Apple Support


  1. "Open the App Store.
  2. Tap your profile icon at the top of the screen.
  3. Scroll to see pending updates and release notes. Tap Update next to an app to update only that app, or tap Update All."


Finally, if that does not work, delete the Kindle app, and download it again to completely refresh the Kindle data: Delete apps on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support
