iPhone videos recorded in HDR look terrible in Premiere Pro. Will they interpret properly in Final Cut Pro?

I had my iPhone 13 set to HDR during the recording of a program that was to become a YouTube video. When the files were imported into Adobe Premiere Pro, the images were horribly blown out and the colors were distorted. This turned out to be a well-known problem in Premiere, and various solutions were proposed, none of which worked. My question for the Apple community is whether Final Cut Pro will interpret these files correctly, or is all hope lost for this project.
