Home app > Long press on HomePod > Accessory Details > Scroll down to Music and Podcasts > Primary User > Sign out, sign in again.

Good. Should rebooting not fix things another time then signing out and in again should fix it.

Thank you but I called support before I saw your message. All I did was reboot (plug out plug in) and it was fine.
