Seriously… by far the worst update ever!! I hate the way the notifications display at the bottom. I hate the big time on hold on my screen and I hate the way you can’t use two different photos for home and Lock Screen. I’ve been into settings and storage and looked for the recent update and found it but it doesn’t give me an option to delete the update??? How can I possibly go back to the previous update?

You said you updated to 16.3 which is a beta version. That is why KiltedTim mentioned beta. If you're at 16.2, you have the latest production version.

Yes you can remove the beta go to settings, general then go down to VPN & Device Management that’s where you’ll find the beta click on it and delete after it’s deleted restart your phone and your good IOS 16.2 is the latest version other than the Beta
I have upgraded my ipone XS Max to 16.3. After restart, I could not access the phone due to keyboard errors (some key letters are not reacting/are inhibited). I cannot use my phone even after full restore.. :-(
Ios 16.3 has not been released. If you have installed a beta version of ios, follow the instructions you received when you joined the beta program to revert to the shipping version (ios 16.2).

I just did the software update and it’s given me 16.2. I don’t know what beta is etc. how do I get the old version back?
Your original post said 16.3, not 16.2.
16.2 is the current version. You can not downgrade ios at all.
