mac book pro track pad
Question - I recently bought a 16 inch mac book pro 2021 (M1 Pro Chip).
When I commented to Apple that the track pad was too large and, as a result, while typing, my palms brush the pad causing the cursor to jump away from the document I am typing (or to different places in the same document). When I first noted this to Apple, they denied any oversight or culpability and instead suggested that I lift my hands off the computer and type with palms "hovering" over the keyboard. I have been unsuccessful in my hovering efforts - and instead I have put painters tape over the sides of the track pad to "shield" the pad from my palms. This helps somewhat, but wondered if anyone had any other suggestions or work arounds. I love apple products and am surprised at their refusal to accept any blame - or to suggest workable adaptations --- or perhaps everyone else in the world does "hover above" while typing.
