macbook keeps crashing, restarting by itself. giving prompt: "your computer was restared because of a problem"

This keeps happening only as of late, with the latest updates to Monterrey.

I only recently installed Serato DJ Lite, and tried out a new DJ controller via my laptop, but I went back and deleted that (Serato DJ Lite) and the pro version.

I also wanted to mention that my battery needs to be serviced and my macbook overheats due to the battery being totally shot. It barely lasts minutes without being connected to power, again, causing overheating and the fans going full blast. Maybe this could be causing the system to overheat to the point of wanting to prevent damage and force a shutdown? Idk..

Now it just seems to keep doing this crashing/restarting thing, and the odd things too is it seems to happen more if it's idle. If I'm actually doing something actively, it seems like I can keep doing whatever (notwithstanding the overheating, fans blaring). Once I leave it a little idling/without actively running stuff it seems to shut off and get into this loop of restarting.

I wanted to include a crash report on here, can I do that and maybe someone can help me get a better answer? Any help is appreciated. I can't afford to get a new macbook right now! I was also thinking of downgrading back to a previous macOS? Again-- any and all advice is greatly appreciated.

Oh-- my mac is a MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2015). Would not mind including recent crash reports to give a better idea as I am savvy, but don't quite know how to dissect the info/code in the reports!

Thank you!

MacBook Pro 15″, macOS 12.6
