iPad full sized keyboard with scribble enabled

when using my ipad with ipencil, i would like to use the full-size keyboard instead of the floating one. I do not want to disable scribble, I would like to use scribble and have access to the large keyboard. Is this possible?

When using the apple pencil in scribble mode that is not possible. The keyboard's background looks lighter in color and the bottom bar appears. The finger spread gesture doesn't work, nor moving the keyboard to the bottom of the screen.

As a user this is very frustrating when using note making apps, I want to be able to expand it fast or remember my preference. This is a widespread issue that was never fixed.

Greetings Justagirlandheripad,

We'd like to provide you with a few steps that can assist you with getting your iPad keyboard back to full size:

"How to make your iPad keyboard full size

  1. Place two fingers on the floating keyboard.
  2. Spread your fingers apart to enlarge the keyboard back to full size.

More details here: Use the floating keyboard on your iPad
