my iPhone I dropped in a small puddle of water it was working fine until I plugged it in to charge it. its has been on but screen is completely black. I did the volume up and volume down and side button to restart it and now the apple signs just flashes off and on ?? any advice?
You have water damage, most likely the phone will need to be replaced.

Buy a new phone.
You should never plug in a phone that has just dropped in water. At the very least, it should be left to dry before you so much as try to turn it on. Charging it while it’s wet makes any damage worse.
