Unclickable areas on screen

To Whom It May Concern---

I have a MacBook Pro running macOS Monterey on it and I am currently experiencing (2) 1" tall x the width of my screen bands at the bottom of my MacBook Pro which are not clickable within any application. When I click in these zones either nothing happens (when only one application is open) or the current application screen will disappear and the application screen below pops up with the same dead area in those bands. Please let me know what the fix is. Thank you. The following is my system hardware and software info.:

Computer: MacBook Pro (16-inch, 2019)

macOS: Monterey v. 12.5.1

Hello rayshapiro,

Thanks for asking the Apple Support Communities about issues on the Mac screen.

Is it due to your resolution? Change your Mac display's resolution - Apple Support

If not, then your display needs to be checked at an Apple Authorized Service Provider or Apple Store.

Thanks.
