Compressor download for older mac

You can try to download the app from the Mac App Store, however it looks like the most recent version of Compressor requires macOS 11.5.1 or later, which means installing an earlier version may not be an option. 

If you use this link and choose Compressor at the top, it shows you the minimum system requirements - Final Cut Pro - Technical Specifications 

Minimum System Requirements

• macOS 11.5.1 or later

• 4GB of RAM (8GB recommended for 4K editing, 3D titles, and 360° video editing)

• Metal-capable graphics card

• 1GB of VRAM recommended for 4K editing, 3D titles, and 360° video editing

• 1.2GB of available disk space

• ProRes RAW requires a Mac computer that supports Metal.

• Some features require Internet access; fees may apply. Blu-ray recorder required for burning Blu-ray discs.
