I use external ssd drives to hold all my Capture One Pro images and data. I would like to transfer all the data from the old external ssd to a new one. I use them on both my MacBook Pro and an iMac running the latest operating software

So, I was indeed able to drop and drag the contents of one SSD to another thru Finder! Turns out I had 500Gb of data!! It took about an hour but it worked great! Thanks to all who tried to help!!

Try Carbon Copy Cloner
Can you drag and drop them with Finder?
I’ve thought about Haven’t tried it yet tho
I would drag and drop. Or, use a cloud service like iCloud if there is not too much data.
I guess there’s about 5Gb of raw files So drop and drag might work

5 Gb of raw files will copy (using drag/drop) in several seconds from one SSD to the other ...
I’m gonna try that this evening then I’ll post my findings Seems like that’s the easiest option
